Founder & Principal

Jason Krotts

Jason Krotts is co-founder and principal of REDA. Since its formation, REDA has invested approximately $492 million equity which equates to stabilized project value of approximately $2 billion.

Prior to founding REDA, Mr. Krotts was a vice president of acquisition and development for Lowe, a nationally-recognized real estate investment and development company based in Los Angeles. Mr. Krotts began his real estate career as a broker with CBRE, the world’s largest globally integrated full-service commercial real estate company. During that time he was a part of a team advising private and institutional developers and investors, completing building sales and leasing transactions in excess of 10 million square feet and approximately 2,000 acres of land.

Mr. Krotts holds a bachelor’s degree from Chapman University. He also sits on the board of the Argyros School of Business and Economics Masters in Real Estate Development program at Chapman University.

Founder & Principal

Bill Goltermann

As co-founder and principal of REDA, Bill Golterman brings close to four decades of experience directing the design, development, and construction of commercial real estate in Southern California and across the U.S. Prior to co-founding REDA, Mr. Goltermann held management positions with public real estate development firms Chelsea Property Group and McDonnell Douglas Realty Group as well as private Southern California-based real estate developers including: Lowe, Irvine Company and Litchfield Advisors. Mr. Goltermann has completed several large build-to-suit office-campus projects for Fortune 100 firms. Throughout his career he has been responsible for over $2 billion in commercial, institutional and retail development.

Mr. Goltermann earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois and a master’s degree from the University of Southern California. Mr. Goltermann is on the board of directors of a closely held manufacturing firm based in the Chicago area and the Southern California Children’s Chorus, based in Newport Beach. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute.

Senior Vice President Development

Jeff Johnston

Jeff Johnston is senior vice president, development. In this capacity he oversees entitlement, acquisition, design development, management, project budgeting and financial analysis, as well as construction management of buildings and infrastructure.

Prior to joining REDA, Mr. Johnston served as the managing general partner for Johnston-Alexander & Associates, L. P., a design-build general contractor focused on industrial development throughout Southern California. In that role, Mr. Johnston oversaw all aspects of site evaluations, entitlements, acquisitions, design development, cost estimating, value engineering and construction management. Over the course of his career, Mr. Johnston was involved in the construction of over 12 million square feet of industrial and commercial buildings.

Mr. Johnston earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California, and a J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of Law. Mr. Johnston is a licensed member of the State Bar of California, and a California licensed General Contractor.

Chad Manista

Chad Manista is vice president assisting with the acquisition, design, entitlement, financing and construction of projects for REDA. Prior to joining REDA, Mr. Manista worked for Holland Partner Group, a multifamily developer, as well as Suffolk Construction and Poole Construction Limited (PCL).

Mr. Manista received a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and a master’s degree from the University of Southern California. During that time, he was selected to be a member of the USC team as part of the NAIOP SoCal USC vs UCLA Real Estate Challenge. He is a member of NAIOP and the Urban Land Institute. Mr. Manista volunteers his time with Habitat for Humanity and Boys and Girls Club.

Vice President

Greg Brooks

Mr. Brooks has over 20 years of experience in project management and development of private and public works projects. Prior to joining REDA, he was a Senior Project Manager at Murow Development Consultants where he was responsible for coordination of offsite improvements associated with several industrial developments in the Inland Empire. Mr. Brooks began his career as a design engineer for Black & Veatch, a global engineering consulting company that specialized in infrastructure development. 

As part of the Irvine office team for more than 10 years, his responsibilities include construction management, preliminary and final design development, developing and maintaining local clients and being responsible for development and maintaining project budget. He went on to the City of Redlands as Construction Manager of the City’s Capital Improvement Program and then to All American Asphalt as a Project Manager. Mr. Brooks holds a BS degree in Civil Engineering from Arizona State University.

Analyst

Davis Case

Davis Case is an analyst with REDA assisting with the acquisition, financing and construction of projects. Prior to joining REDA, Mr. Case worked for Aragon Holdings, a multifamily investment fund, as well as the Structured Finance group for City National Bank. He holds a master’s degree in real estate from Chapman University.
